On 16th May, Associate Joy Stone held an informal session with QEH A-Level students, explaining AFA’s role in placemaking at Wapping Wharf.

The students also learnt about the Retail Vision for Cargo and the development of the second phase, which has just commenced on site.  They were keen to understand the nature of the new streets bounded by the second phase and how the Gaol Gate would become a new focal point for the development.

Over the years AFA have supported a number of local schools by offering up to three one week work experience placements a year but this was an interesting new departure for us.
