Alec French Architects led the conservation and conversion of a unique group of Scheduled Ancient Monuments and Listed (Grade I and II*) buildings dating back to the 13th Century, known as Quakers Friars, to allow their re-use to appropriate modern standards.
A Conservation Plan was developed in conjunction with Keystone, English Heritage, and Bristol City Council to inform the proposals for the listed buildings.
Liaison with English Heritage, archaeologists, and local statutory consultees continued right through to completion of this highly successful project.
