Client: Bristol City Council
Duration: 2004 – 2007
The client brief asked for a ‘flagship’ building which would provide sports and community amenities for Netham Park in Bristol.
The lower, larger area of the Park has space for five football pitches and the upper smaller level is to be a local park and play area – the two parts divided by a steep grass bank.
Sited on the divide between the two parts, the Pavilion’s upper floor caters for general community and park staff needs; and the lower floor, partially dug into the bank, for those of the sports players.
