This floor is not yet open to the public, the council are currently using it internally prior to the public reopening later in the year.
Bristol City Council took handover of five floors of City Hall this week, which includes the Cash Hall.
The large joinery items are being installed in the Cash Hall. This amazing space must be one of the biggest in Bristol and will be a real asset to the Council, the slatted meeting rooms went in last week and the amphitheatre, lighting and banquette seating are currently being installed.
The top floors of City Hall are nearing completion with the furniture going in on the fourth floor week commencing 14th March 2016 and on the third floor the following week.
New Corian panels are about to be installed in recreated historic toilets - these WCs had previously been modified to accommodate an accessible WC and shower.
Works are continuing at City Hall as we move past the half way stage in the contract. The office floors are progressing top down with the Fourth (purple) and Third (blue) floors almost ready to receive the client’s furniture.
