City Hall shortlisted for BCO awards
Exciting days for Alec French! We have been shortlisted for BCO Awards 2017. The project chosen was City Hall, which is an amazing project full of character, as you can see on the images.
In 2013 Bristol City Council set out to transform the delivery of citizen services, recognizing their objectives would only be realised if they addressed People, Place and Technology issues. City Hall was a complex project with multiple internal Client and external stakeholders.
However, public access to the building is increased with refurbishment to the council chamber, conference hall and committee rooms.
The heritage status of the building has been respected by the designers: sensitively used as a back-drop to create a vibrant working environment with enhanced public facing spaces. Careful project planning and good regular communications by the team from start to finish have resulted in a project that was completed on time and on budget with the highest quality possible.
