Harbourside cycle tour – September 2016

A team of cyclists from Alec French took part in a Harbourside cycle tour which was led by the lovely Holly from ‘Cycle The City’

Organised by Travelwest the tour started in the best possible way with coffee and cake at No.1 Harbourside, we then saddled up and set off to see beautiful Bristol on two wheels.

The tour took us through Queen Square, along Spike Island before briefly stopping off on the banks of the River Avon with a fantastic view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, before heading back along the opposite side of the Harbour. The route allowed us to take in some of Bristol’s hidden gems and most famous landmarks.

En route we cycled passed some of our projects including Wapping Wharf Phase 1, the Underfall Yard renovation, Redcliffe Parade West, and the new Isambard Kingdom Brunel Museum named ‘Being Brunel’.

The team came away with some great facts and enjoyed getting to see the sites of Bristol in the sunshine.
