We have been calculating our carbon footprint since 2010 and annually offsetting any emissions. This year, to demonstrate our continuing commitment to the environment, we are proud to announce that we are now a certified Carbon Neutral® company. 

Alec French Architects 90th Anniversary – 1960s

During the 1960s, the range of buildings the practice delivered continued to evolve. A number of speculative and end-user office buildings were developed alongside purpose-built university buildings, wine cellars, and more. The architectural style also evolved into a much more modernist approach characteristic of the decade as witnessed across the country.

Alec French Architects 90th Anniversary – 1950s

A major rebuilding campaign spread across the country in the 1950s following the aftermath of the Second World War. It was a period which saw the work of Alec F French and Partners (as we were then known) expand beyond Bristol into surrounding cities including Plymouth, Exeter, Swansea, and Swindon.
