Cargo Work Steel Frame Started on Site

Cargo Work Steel Frame Started on Site

Cargo Work is now on-site with the steel frame nearing completion within the 8M tall Gaol walls. Cargo Work will house four floors of spacious and flexible office space designed for businesses of all sizes looking for a unique environment.

Forming part of the Wapping Wharf masterplan, the building replaces the Frys Warehouse that used to stand within the listed walls. Later lean-to structures have been removed to create a generous public realm to the front of the building and to allow the scale of the Gaol walls to be fully appreciated.

Following the success of the temporary retail accommodation at Wapping Wharf – Cargo 1 and 2 – the building fits neatly into the wider masterplan, continuing the shipping container style and industrial architypes found throughout the development.
