London Study Trip

London Study Trip

Every year AFA try and get out from the office to see some inspirational architecture in a major city. This year we decided to explore the massive regeneration projects of Stratford and Olympic Park and Kings Cross, London. We were lucky enough to have a private tour of some of the most innovative workspaces at HereEast, explored some of the legacy architecture and masterplanning left behind after the 2012 Olympic Games, and took a trip slightly north to see the incredible redevelopment of King’s Cross which included highlights of the new Google Headquarters and Heatherwick Studio’s fantastic Coal Drops Yard.

The trip was very inspiring and always helps to generate new ideas and aspirations that all our staff bring back to our studio work.
